PEARL HARBOR, more than 2,000 people gathered at Kilo Pier in Pearl Harbor Monday morning to remember the bombing of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Governor Linda Lingle was among those in attendance as were about 50 survivors from the attacks.
The National Park Service and the U.S. Navy hosted the service. At 7:55 AM everyone observed a moment of silence to mark the exact moment the offensive began.
