Facebook enhanced mobile payment with Bango

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has integrated the mobile web payments with Bango to boost up its carrier billing up to 77 percent as compared to the traditional carrier billing that yields 44 percent by taking key steps.  Facebook Inc. (FB) is turning on new streamlined carrier billing mobile web payments  which are now going live in UK, US, and Germany.

First time Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has announced for developers, the streamlined payment flow in June that was made available for only UK and US at that time. This is announced by the Facebook Inc. (FB) today that it is turning on “frictionless” mobile web carrier billing for in-app payments in the UK, US and Germany.

But now the mobile payment app, Bango, is confirming that it is powering the service to be live now for mobile web consumers and will further expand to more countries later in this year. This would definitely enhance quicker payments for Facebook Inc.  which is a viable step for the social networking firm.

This new billing also has a confirmation by text message, involved in the authentication process. Bango payment method is able to do payment via multiple channels because it stores all the payment data for users across all the app stores, operators and websites that uses it including Google Play, BlackBerry App World, Electronic Arts, Opera Mobile Store, CNN, and 90 other operators.

When people go through the Facebook payment method they can forgo the identity verification process and additionally Bango is also providing payments for Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) and is a technology partner for Mastercard Inc (NYSE:MA)’s PayPass mobile wallet.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) with better payments means, potentially more revenue apart from ads, as social network is struggling to find new ways for revenue generation by improving its advertising on mobile and also allowing the developers promote their apps to mobile users. As we know Facebook has already started testing developers to promote their apps to mobile users in last week.

Payment system of Facebook Inc. (FB) will only work for digital content but it could be part of a bigger play to bring Facebook payments to the real world soon.
