The widow of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founder Steve Jobs, the man behind the first personal computer, the iPod, iPhone iPad and other innovations and who will be remembered for ushering in fundamental changes in the way people interact with technology, was reportedly joining Stanford University’s governing board. The university declared yesterday that Laurene Powell Jobs will start a five-year term on the school’s board of trustees October 1.
