The Real Madrid star will don jeans and pants for big money...
Cristiano Ronaldo has followed in David Beckham's footsteps once more by replacing the England star as the new face of Italian design house Emporio Armani.
The Portuguese star will model the brand's spring and summer collection in 2010 after being named as the face and body of the company.
Having retraced Beckham's move when joining Real Madrid from Manchester United in the summer, Ronaldo has now penned a deal with Armani.
Becoming the "new official ambassador" for the company, the world's most expensive football player will don jeans and underwear in advertising campaigns.
Beckham was affiliated with Armani from 2007, but has relinquished the role after moving on to create his own range of underwear.
Ronaldo's team-mate Kaka also has links with Armani while the company has employed England goalkeeper David James and Ukraine legend Andriy Shevchenko, among others, to model for them.
