An updated 2010 Mazda CX-9 debuts at the New York auto show with exterior and interior styling revisions and an updated features list.
Exterior revisions include a front fascia with a new five-point grille that has been employed on the RX-8, the MX-5 and the Mazda 3. Joining the grille are new headlights, fog lamps and larger, more aerodynamic side-mirror. New wheel designs, rear lights and rear fascia garnish complete the outside changes.
The interior changes include new seating surfaces for both cloth and leather models, center console lid, additional chrome accents and piano-black trim. In addition, the rear climate controls and advanced keyless entry fob have been redesigned. The optional Bose sound system now includes a 4.3-inch LCD display and the back-up monitor system features a wide-angle camera.
The 3.7-liter V6 with 273 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque carries over unchanged and is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Look for the 2010 Mazda CX-9 to arrive in showrooms late this summer with a base price close to the current model's $30,490.
