Chrome to add "do not track" feature

US search giant, Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) intends to incorporate a “do not track” feature in its personal Chrome Web browser.

The newly launched feature equips the websites with a message notifying them that the user does not want the website to record where he or she is watching that particular site.

The declaration makes Google (GOOG) the last of the huge web browsers to include the feature following Mozilla’s Firefox and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer did so before, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The plan is part of a deal the web firms made with the White House to secure Internet members.
