Microsoft Corporation said today that it is looking forward to introduce its long awaited new Windows 8 on October 25. The company informed the media reporters via an email regarding the launch of its new operating system in New York without giving any further details about the event.
Last week, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer said that he is quite convinced that the new operating system will do well in the markets across the world. He further said that during the last 20 years, Windows 95 was indeed the biggest launch by Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) so far and anticipated that Windows 8 will cross that mark, according to The Seattle Times. It is also anticipated that Microsoft will introduce its tablet at the event.
