Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has removed the registered trademark symbol from the company's logo.
Yahoo Inc. is removing the registered trademark symbol from its logo, and has started removing the character from signs around its building,
according to TechCrunch.
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo (NASDAQ: YHOO) CEO Marissa Mayer posted an image to Instagram Monday with the message
"One of our new Yahoo!s Andrew was really bugged by the registered trademark symbol at the end of our logo; he's gone on a mission removing all the R's from our site and our campus. This is one on the random R's we pulled off a wall :)"
