Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) has updated the terms and regulations for its web services, allowing it to exchange data between web services.
The move tracks an identical update to Google’s regulations. In January, Google stated that it would lower its privacy strategies from 70 to only a few, making it simpler for users to in fact read the report, but also letting Google share data between products and link its services.
That policy grabbed the focus of EU controllers, who stated that the new terms violated European data regulations.
Microsoft’s (MSFT) changes do not seem to be as wide-approaching as Google’s, but tracks the same course of incorporating web-based services.
