An expert referring to upstream supply chain sources believes that ultra high-resolution display hopes for a supposed Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display is now being manufactured, with starting output volumes predicted to be greater than the present 15-inch version.
As per reported by NPD DisplaySearch expert Richard Shim, the display supposedly being made for the smallest MacBook Pro carries a resolution of 2,560-by-1600 pixels, in contrast to the present model’s 1,280-by-800 pixel screen, according to a CNET report.
Shim stated that the supply chain signals are that it’s for a MacBook Pro 13.3, not a MacBook Air.
The expert further stated that Samsung, LG Display and Sharp are all manufacturing the new 13-inch panel to fulfill a superior initial volume contrast to the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display released in June.
Inventory of Apple’s (AAPL) luxurious laptop rapidly declined as supply could not fulfill demand because of less display yield rates, and only recently has the firm been capable of coming closer, with deliveries now estimated at two to four business days.
Lawsuits Action
On Sunday, Samsung filed a motion with the US District Court of Northern California demanding that a opening ban next to its Galaxy Tab 10.1 should be suspended keeping in mind that the Apple vs/ Samsung jury cleared the Tab and stated that it had not violated an Apple (AAPL) iPad design patent.
The motion and its supplementary planned order arrives just days following Samsung being struck hard from a US jury who found the firm guilty of infringing a lot of Apple’s design and utility patents, with damages payable increasing up to more than $1 billion.
