Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has announced the launch of its Windows Azure Mobile Services preview to the developers.
The service lets developers to add backend Windows Azure support to their Windows 8 apps.
Developers can sign up for a 90-day free trial of the service during which they can create and upload up to 10 apps for free.
Scott Guthrie, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) developer vice president, said, “The reason we are introducing Windows Azure Mobile Services is because a lot of developers don’t have the time/skillset/inclination to have to build a custom mobile backend themselves. Instead they’d like to be able to leverage an existing solution to get started and then customize/extend further only as needed when their business grows”.
