Facebook Inc's Camera App might rivalled Instagram? lol

Facebook Inc. (FB), being the most popular social media network is working to engage people across its network through unique and easy ways and in an effort to improve its connectivity services it released an update for its standalone Camera app for iPhone, which now havs an option to upload photos to albums along with notifications when friends like, tag or comment on your photo.

According to Facebook Inc. (FB) sources, it is the most wanted feature of photo albums for its standalone Camera app for iPhone. This update would definitely encourage the various Facebook activities like push notifications about friend activity on a user’s photos seems to be the best way to encourage users to re-engage with the app.

Facebook users are already receiving the notifications about this activity through the main Facebook for iPhone app, so right now it’s unclear if this will result in double notifications, which normally happens in the case of standalone Messenger app.

Users of FB will see their notifications in the “News” tab from their home screen. From there they can add photos to an existing album or create a new one by clicking the new icon that resembles exactly an a album from the photo upload screen.

After creating the Photo Album users can title it, provide a description and location, and can also assign the privacy level. This is a very useful app since the Camera app allows bulk uploads that users might want to organize into albums for different events.

Camera was first launched by Facebook Inc. in May, just weeks after announcing its intention to acquire the mobile photo sharing service Instagram. Instagram service has 45 times as many downloads capability as a Camera, according to the Office of Fair Trading, which investigated the details about that deal.

The social network launched a faster version of its Facebook for iPhone and iPad apps last week and also updated Facebook for iOS Messenger and Android.

Its good news for U.S. iPhone users, now they can download the Facebook updated Camera app here. But this app is not yet available all around the world.
